Yesterday, God told me something. He said,"You are the cross! You were ugly and broken, but I made you new!" Originally , the cross was a symbol of death and shame. People are naturally sinful. It is our nature to sin. We are originally broken, shameful, and ugly. Jesus changed all of that! He saved us from our sin and shame! Today, when we look at the cross we think of salvation, Jesus, the greatest gift we have ever been given! We see the cross as beautiful. When God looks at us He sees Jesus! He sees perfect beauty! Jesus hung on the ugly cross and covered it so that we now see it as beautiful and good. He covered our ugliness with His blood so that God sees us as beautiful and pure! We are the cross. To God alone be the glory!
