Summary: Caleb, a firefighter, and Cathrine, who works at a hospital, Holt (Kirk Cameron and Erin Bethea) are struggling in their marriage so much so that Cathrine files for divorce. Caleb doesn't believe divorce is right, but he has given up on their relationship. They both struggle with selfishness. They have their own jobs, schedules, and income. They are concerned with themselves and their personal lives not each other's. When Caleb tells his father Cathrine has filed for divorce his father challenges him. He gives Caleb a journal with a new "dare" everyday for 40 days. This challenge is called "The Love Dare". The "dares" are simple acts of kindness towards your spouse that increase each day. Throughout the challenge God works in Caleb's life and touches others around him.
Pros:An amazing story about not giving up and accepting God. Fireproof encourages Biblical marriage. One of the few movies with Scripture instead of profanity.
Cons: None
