"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."
Psalm 23:4
The 23rd Psalm is familiar to most of us. We have heard it quoted many times, but have we ever really taken in the importance of it?
Psalm 23:4 is telling us that even when we are at our lowest point, when we are near death, when we are in danger and darkness, when we are giving up our Heavanly Father is still with us. He is guiding, protecting, and conforting us. We do not need to fear anying! We should have no fear of evil, because God is there with us!
He never ever leaves us! We may go through times when we feel like He is not there. We may even go so far as to ask Him, "Where have you gone? Why have you left me?" ,but He is there. When we feel like that it is not Him. It's us. We are the ones who are not there. We are not seeking Him. When we seek Him we will find Him! He is always there!
"But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul."
Deuteronomy 4:29
