For our second topic we decided to talk about media control. What I mean by media control is controlling what kind of media you are letting into your mind. Satan uses media as a tool to sneak into our minds. We think, " I can watch this or listen to that, but that doesn't mean I'm going to do it." Well, guess what you have just been tricked by the Great Deceiver himself! Now you are thinking about it. You have let the evil in. The Bible says to bring every thought into captivity! "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."-2 Corinthians 10:5 The Bible also says that doing something in your heart is the same as doing it for real. That goes both ways, good and bad! Media is a tool for both Christians and Satan! The sad thing is there is way more evil than there is good! Controlling media means only letting what is good and pure and holy into your mind, your heart, and your soul! It's not easy, but nothing worth doing is! So, take the media control challenge and next time you are watching t.v., listening to music, or surfing the web ask yourself, " Is this good and pure and holy? Is this what my Heavenly Father would want me be letting enter my soul? What is He thinking right now?" Check everything against the Bible including this blog! We are saying what we believe to be the truth, but we encourage you to study the scriptures and talk to God about! He will show you His truth, the truth!
