"No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and man." Luke 16:13
Everything we do is either praise to our Heavenly Father or sin against Him ! With every action we either worship Him or we dishonor Him! With every action we are either getting closer to or farther away from God. We need to look at our actions not as meaningless acts, but as for or against God! Fighting with our siblings: against God. Helping our siblings with school:for God! Anything can be praise to God! Maybe its helping out around the house. If you put your all into it and "do it heartily, as to the Lord" that is praise! That is worship! Worship doesn't just take place on Sunday mornings in the church building! In fact that is a very small part of what your worship should be! Maybe you love to ride horses (like me) if you ride "heartily, as to the Lord" that is worship! In fact one of my favorite times to talk to God is while riding. God has given you your talents to use to worship and serve Him! Maybe you are great at sewing, well sew "heartily, as to the Lord"! Sew for others in need! Find ways to serve God and those in need with your gift! Praise God in all things! This may seem silly, but you can praise God through and while cleaning out the chicken pen or going to get the mail!
